The existing area (ground floor) is divided in four main areas: the living room, the kitchen-dinning room, the storage-laundry room and the bathroom. The additional space (mezzanine), where the bedroom is located, is created by a steel-frame structure with such a form and dimensions that allow the incoming light to reach from both sides. Since form lightness is essential the mezzanine sides are protected with a rope system. A clothing storage unit is positioned right above the main entrance, allowing both light and view.

A custom steel structure works as a staircase and library. The bathroom gets slightly bigger while the storage area is as hidden as possible.
