Per rendere confortevole ed elegante questo loft di circa 26 mq è stato ideato un progetto di restyling poco invasivo, che intende valorizzare lo spazio a disposizione studiando piccole soluzioni d’interior design.
Il progetto prevede di rinnovare le finiture interne, gli infissi e gli impianti. Inoltre è prevista la realizzazione di un soppalco abitabile di circa 9,6 mq, dove organizzare la camera, raggiungibile tramite una scala che per il suo design diviene l’elemento architettonico che caratterizza la casa.
L’intervento è stato ideato per consentire a 2/3 persone di vivere in maniera confortevole gli spazi.

ZONA LIVING:
Organizzata all’ingresso, è arredata con un divano-letto a tre posti e un sistema di parete attrezzata nello spazio sottostante la scala che conduce al soppalco. Il restauro della porta d’ingresso ripristina le aperture vetrate, realizzate con vetro satinato che permettono il passaggio della luce senza compromettere la privacy. Inoltre è possibile arricchire la porta con un tendaggio che consente di modulare l’oscuramento quando necessario.

CUCINA:
Adiacente al living, è separata da questo tramite un tavolo a penisola che per le sue dimensioni può essere adoperato sia per il pranzo sia per il lavoro. La cucina, che a un primo sguardo può sembrare molto semplice, è accessoriata con tutti gli elementi e gli elettrodomestici di una cucina casalinga. Realizzata con elementi standard (reperibili con ogni brand) ha uno sviluppo lineare di 5 m ed è pensata con una finitura in laminato, sia per le ante sia per il piano di lavoro, per conferirgli durevolezza e praticità d’uso. E’ fornita di un lavello monovasca, un piano cottura a induzione (oppure a gas secondo le esigenze), un forno a incasso e un frigorifero-congelatore strategicamente alloggiato in un vano sotto la scala del soppalco.

BAGNO:
E’ un ambiente molto compatto di circa 2,6 mq. L’accesso è risolto con una porta scorrevole con binario a parete per ridurre al minimo le demolizioni e sfruttare le pareti del bagno per l’impianto elettrico e idrico. Il bagno è accessoriato con un box doccia che sfrutta tutta la profondità del vano, un sanitario che funge sia da wc sia da bidet ed è provvisto di una vaschetta di scarico tipo geberit nascosta nella parete retrostante, ed un mobile bagno su cui poggia la vasca del lavandino.

SOPPALCO – STANZA DA LETTO
Una soluzione che consente di creare un ambiente di circa 9,6 mq a un’altezza da terra di 2,3 m. Il soppalco è poggiato su delle travi di ferro agganciate alla parete e sfrutta la posizione delle travi già esistenti. Lo spazio è arredato con un letto matrimoniale e un guardaroba ad ante scorrevoli (e non a battente) per consentirne l’uso in spazi ristretti. Il solaio del soppalco è caratterizzato da un gradino alto 60 cm che separa il letto dal guardaroba. Questa scelta progettuale è dovuta alla posizione delle travi esistenti ma consente di aprire una finestra nel solaio per portare la luce naturale proveniente dalla grande finestra a vasistas della cucina. Il soffitto del soppalco si articola in due altezze differenti che vanno da 1,7 m nel punto più basso a 2,4 m nel punto più alto. Dato il saltuario utilizzo di quest’ambiente durante la giornata, scelte progettuali borderline si sono rese necessarie per risolvere la gestione dello spazio senza compromettere la comodità.

SCALA
Il manifesto di questo progetto, arricchisce lo spazio del loft donandogli fascino. La sua struttura di ferro è nascosta all’interno dei vani che la caratterizzano. Quando si ha a disposizione poco spazio, è importante sfruttare ogni angolo in maniera intelligente, proprio per questo sotto la scala trova posto un sistema di mensole a giorno, dove poggiare oggetti e televisore, e dei vani con ante a battente, dove stivare quello che non è usato quotidianamente. Il vano dalle dimensioni maggiori disposto vicino al tavolo della cucina ospita il frigorifero.
Consapevoli che il suo utilizzo sarà poco influente durante la giornata sono usate delle alzate e delle pedate meno confortevoli che permettono di accorciare la lunghezza della scala a vantaggio della zona living.

LAVANDERIA
Organizzata sul fondo del loft, è nascosta dietro delle ante a battente con finitura a specchio. Questo espediente aumenta la percezione della profondità e fa sembrare il loft più profondo, quindi più grande. Dietro le tre ante è possibile organizzare una piccola lavanderia, una capiente dispensa e alloggiare se necessario un boiler.

FINITURE
Per questo progetto è consigliato l’utilizzo di un’unica pavimentazione per dare continuità spaziale al loft. Si è preferita una pavimentazione in gres effetto legno (doghe 25x150 cm spessore 1cm) per questioni di praticità d’uso, resa estetica e buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Le pareti sono tinteggiate a smalto di colore bianco per accentuare la luminosità degli ambienti. Per la cucina e il bagno si è scelto di rivestire le pareti con delle piastrelle a mosaico di grande carattere estetico.

The restyle of the loft of about 26 mq is a non-invasive project which aims to enhance the available space and propose small interior design solutions.
The project plans to renovate the interior finishes, windows fixtures and plants. Also planned is the construction of a mezzanine floor of about 9.6 mq, where you can organize the bedroom. It is reached by a staircase which for its design becomes an architectural element that characterizes the house.
The project allow 2/3 people to live comfortably the house.

LIVING AREA:
It is organized at the entrance and it is furnished with a sofa bed with three seats and a wall unit in the space below the staircase that leading to the mezzanine floor. The restoration of the front door refurbishes the windows openings. They are made of frosted glasses that allow the passage of light without compromising privacy. It is also possible to enrich the door with a curtain that allows modulating the obscuration when necessary.

KITCHEN:
It is adjacent to the living room, a peninsula table divides the two spaces. This table you can be used both for the lunch and for the work. The kitchen, that at first sight may seem very simple, is equipped with all the elements and the appliances that you need. It is realized with standard elements (available with each brand), has a linear development of 5 m and is designed with a laminated finish, both for the doors that for the work plan, in order to give durability and practicality of use. It is equipped with a single kitchen sink, an induction hob (or gas as needed), a built-in oven and a fridge with freezer strategically located in under the stairs.

BATHROOM:
It is a very compact room of about 2.6 mq. A sliding door allows the access. It has a frame that supports a door to minimize the demolitions. The electrical and water system are located inside in the bathroom walls. The bath is equipped with a shower box which exploits the full depth of the room. There is also a wc that acts both as a sanitary toilet and bidet, it is provided with a drain pan hidden in the wall behind, type geberit. A bath cabinet on which rests the sink bath completes the furniture of the bath.

MEZZANINE FLOOR – BEDROOM
A solution that allows you to create a room of about 9.6 mq at a height of 2.3 m from the ground. The mezzanine floor is resting on the iron beams fastened to the wall and take advantage of the position of the beams which already exist. The space is furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe with sliding doors (not hinged doors) to use it in tight spaces. The mezzanine floor is characterized by a step of about 60 cm, which separates the bed from the wardrobe. This design choice is due to the location of the existing beams, and allows to opens a window between the two part of the mezzanine floor. In this way the bed area receives natural light from the large vasistas window that is in the kitchen. The ceiling is divided into two different heights ranging from 1.7 m at the lowest point to 2.4 m at the highest point. This area has borderline solutions because you use it just for few hours per day, but you can use it without compromising comfort.

STAIR
The poster of this project, the stair enriches the loft space giving to it charm. Its iron structure is hidden inside the wall unit that characterizes it. When you have little space available it is important to take advantage of every corner in an intelligent way. For this reason under the staircase there are an open shelf system to store objects and the TV, and drawers where you can put what you do not use daily. The space with higher size next to the kitchen table is for the refrigerator.
For preserve more space in the living area, we prefer to design rise and tread less comfortable to obtain a shorten length of the stair. This influences just the use of the stair but you don't need to go upstairs a lot of time during the day because of the design of the whole house.

LAUNDRY
It is organized in the part more distant from the principal door and is hidden behind in a closet with mirror finish doors. This trick increases the depth perception and makes it seem the loft bigger than it really is. Behind the three doors you can organize also a large pantry and if necessary you can put a water heater.

FINISCHES
For this project we recommend the use of a single flooring to give spatial continuity to the loft. We choose a tile that seems like wood (1 cm thick slats, 25 x 150 cm) for ease of use issues, for aesthetic value and because this flooring has a good for relationship between quality and money. The walls are painted in white glaze to accentuate the brightness of the house. The walls of the kitchen and the bathroom have mosaic tiles because of their aesthetic.
