The project does not include any demolition except the walls of the bathroom (the drainpipe has not been moved).
The intervention is limited to the execution of the new bathroom’s walls, where the installations are shared with the kitchen in order to minimize the realisation’s costs.
The light will came from the big door with glazed windows, from the existant windows (not modified at all) and from the new door close to the bathroom (door with glass). The big entrance door is modified: the glass is no more transparent but glazed to assure privacy.
The studio can now host 2 persons, with the possibility to become 4 thanks to the bed settee installed in the living room.
Entering the space you will have a complete view of it: the main area of the studio has a double height space and hosts a relax area with a television and a bed settee and a reading corner. The kitchen is ideally separated from the living room with the use of colourful tiles instead parquet.
The bathroom’s area has been increased and has been flanked with a handy wardrobe.
Through a staircase you can reach the night area. Here a double mezzanine lays on the existing beams and creates two separated spaces: a little corner for work/study and the bed area with matress and a library.
The colour scheme is dominated by light colours in order to give brightness to the space, with spots of red and light blue to give personality. All the furniture, furthermore, is easily findable in chaines (Ikea, Maison du Monde, Mondo Convenienza…) or easily substituted by vintage finds like libraries, chairs, tables...
The budget of the interventions is low.

Il progetto non prevede nessuna demolizione se non il muro dell’attuale bagno (scarico/braga non spostata).
Le nuove opere si limitano quindi alla realizzazione delle pareti del bagno, che vengono sfruttate anche dalla cucina al fine di limitare il più possibile i costi impiantistici.
La luce all’intero del locale filtra dalla grande porta di ingresso, dalle finestre esistenti (non modificate) e dall’inserimento di un vetro nella porta verso il cortile. Alla porta principale, infatti, si è pensato di eliminare gli elementi oscuranti in compensato e sostituirli con vetri traslucidi per illuminare la stanza garantendo la privacy.
Lo studio è pensato per ospitare 2 persone, con la possibilità di aumentarne la capienza fino a 4 persone grazie al divano-letto.
Entrando si ha una visuale completa dello spazio abitativo: lo spazio principale dello studio è a doppia altezza e ospita un’area relax dotata di divano-letto, televisione e un angolo lettura. La cucina è separata idealmente dallo spazio principale da mattonelle che interrompono il parquet.
L’area del bagno è stata aumentata ed è stata affiancata da un’area armadi capiente e funzionale.
Tramite una scala in legno si accede a un doppio soppalco che appoggia sulle travi esistenti e crea due spazi distinti: un piccolo spazio per lo studio/lavoro e l’area notte attrezzata con un letto a una piazza e mezzo e una pratica scaffalatura.
La palette di colori scelta è dominata dalle tinte chiare per donare luminosità allo spazio, con punte di celeste e rosso per dare personalità all’ambiente. Tutti gli arredi, inoltre, sono facilmente reperibili in grandi catene (Ikea, Maison du Monde) oppure facilmente sostituibili con oggetti di riuso o vintage come ad esempio le librerie, la scrivania, il tavolo da pranzo e le sedie…).
