Description

This renovation project included converting a closed kitchen into an open one with a completely rural atmosphere (spirit). The employer requested for a kitchen design representing the ancient Iranian kitchens. For this purpose, unlike the common procedures that are usually used for constructing kitchens, in this project, plaster and metal profile were used instead of MDF for partitioning the cabinets in order to enhance the strength and durability and, meanwhile, increase the rural spirit of the design. To make the best use of the space, a multi-purpose surface, consisting of a breakfast table, a worktable, and a sitting space, was designed beside the window.
