Brief: The design and construction of a new divisional police headquarters providing operational
office & meeting space with adjoining custodial facilities.

Role: I joined the project team in 2011 during developed design and my involvement continued until fabrication design. My primary duty was the completion of the custody suite design and its tender package delivery. To achieve this I led a small group as part of a wider multidisciplinary team. In addition, I led the use of our BIM platform, Autodesk Revit.

This scheme allowed me to continue developing my detailed design skills, particularly in specialist custodial design. Management of my team and leading collaboration within the larger multidisciplinary whole allowed me to develop adept leadership skills. My successful use of these ensured the delivery of the tender package on time and well within our fee.
