The E.L. APARTMENT is an apartment of 135 m2 in Sofouli area in Thessaloniki. References to nature and its tranquility were determinative factors in the design of the apartment. With this in mind, there are two dominant elements oak wood in natural color and white on other surfaces, walls, paneling, furniture. The wood lies on the floor throughout the house.
At this point it became a game with different qualities of oak, natural and artificial, and a different treatment of oak called «vinterio» dominating the paneling separating between the living room and one bedroom. The paneling covers the door and a small storage space. In this house radical changes were made to the existing layout, the spaces changed position and abolished the aisle creating in its place a " battery " of storage / closets with access either through the bedrooms either from the main area of the house, the living room . At this point of the living room, the storage space has lined with glowing vertically perforated panels.A median barrier constructed with marble carrara, is another natural material that blends evenly with the all-white kitchen.
