Description

Main goal for this design was to redesign the living/dining area to be functional, open, bright and comfortable in order to bring family together.
This is achieved by creating large window openings on the west side and organizing space to face them, giving the feel of a much bigger and brighter room.
Entrance doors lead to the hallway that is secluded to avoid interfering with outside weather conditions. Living/ dining area is designed as a big open plan where the kitchen is separated from the rest of space by glass partition walls allowing sunlight to enter the room. Living room is facing the west and by seeing the dining room and kitchen appearing in the distance make the space feel bigger and brighter. Living room and library share the same wall that is semi-closed with book shelves, where one can enjoy their time alone but close to the family. Kitchen is designed to be spacious with an island where the family can prepare food and enjoy time together.
Creating a series of spaces that extends from one to another and that have good visibility to the whole area gives the opportunity for this big living/dining room to bring the family closer.
