the three musketeers' rooms

Briefing

Dear designers,

we are at the end of the renovation of our new detached villa, for which we’ve already launched a Contest on GoPillar a couple years ago: Villa4five (https://app.gopillar.com/contests/59f64f0cc855c2005c6e059d/briefing). We decided to launch a new Contest for the sleeping area, in particular for the rooms of our 3 children, our three musketeers! Please, meet our children: Jacopo (7 years old), Tommaso (4 years old) and Samuele (2 years old); they decided not to share the same room, so we decided to realize 3 single rooms. We really want to give each room a unique character reflecting our sons’ tastes and personality; the rooms should be comfortable, funny and flexible so that will be easy to adapt them in the future when our children grow up.

The aim of the Contest is to have a precise distribution of furniture, suggestions about type of furniture and brands, selection of finishing and materials, combination of colours.

We’ve already arranged the position of sockets, lighting, network attacks and TV cables; the position of those elements partially limits the position of beds, closets and desks. So please, take those elements in consideration but feel free to use your creativity anyway!

The following are a few elements that should be present in each one of the rooms:
- Parquet MONPAR MY TANGO ROVERE ANTIQUE;
- Big single window fixtures SCHUCO white RAL9010;
- Doors PIVATO LEGGERA h 2,40m matt laquered Agate Colour (simil Sikkens J0.05.65);
- Lighting in the centre of the ceiling;
- Ceiling height; 2,74 meters;
- Air conditioning vents h 2,60 meters;
- Hidden curtain rods.

He is the oldest son and he chose the bigger room for himself! He already attends primary school, so he needs a desk to do his homework. He doesn’t want a loft bed, but we’d like to include a second bed somewhere to host his friends. The mum needs a good closet and a coat hanger for coats and hoodies. Jacopo loves LEGOs, he will like a place to display his creations, and sport cars. We also need a storage place for toys (it doesn’t need to be big since we also have a playroom in the house). The room has a TV cable. We don’t like bridge wardrobes. We need a lamp in the centre of the ceiling and some desk lamps.

He is the second-born son and has chosen quite a large bedroom. He’d like to have a loft-bed with a play/reading area below, but if you please could anticipate also the future arrangement with a single “normal” bed for when he is a teenager, we would be grateful. The mum needs a good closet and a coat hanger for coats and hoodies. Tommaso would like blue to be the main colour of the room, please use your creativity for tones and uses (walls, furniture, ceiling etc.); he would also like star-like spotlights on the ceiling for the night. He likes LEGOs but he doesn’t want any display area, he also loves model trains and costumes (mainly superheroes but also firemen, doctors, builders etc.) The room has a TV cable. We don’t like bridge wardrobes. We need a lamp in the centre of the ceiling and some desk lamps.

He is our last son and he was left with the smallest bedroom. This is the most difficult room to arrange: please help us to make this room look bigger choosing the right furniture and colours. In this room we can use a bridge wardrobe, but please choose one with a nice and peculiar design. Now Samuele sleeps in a small bed (70x120 cm) but he will definitely sleep in a standard-size bed in two years. He likes climbing and play any kind of sports with balls. He also loves superheroes. The mum needs a good closet and a coat hanger for coats and hoodies. The room has a TV cable.

Siamo arrivati al termine della ristrutturazione della nostra villetta unifamiliare oggetto del contest lanciato su GoPillar alla fine del 2017 Villa4Five.
Vorrei non pesare nei dettagli finali, quindi lancio un nuovo contest per arredare la zona notte e in particolare le tre camerette dei nostri tre moschettieri.
I nostri bambini: Jacopo 7 anni, Tommaso 4 anni e Samuele 2 anni hanno scelto di non condividere la camera e quindi abbiamo realizzato nel progetto finale 3 distinte camere singole. 
Vorrei dare ad ognuna di queste camere un carattere distintivo che rispecchi il temperamento e i gusti di ognuno di loro, creando ambienti accoglienti, accattivanti, divertenti e che si possano facilmente adattare alla rapida crescita.
L’obbiettivo è ottenere una precisa distribuzione degli arredi, suggerimenti su marche, modelli degli stessi, finiture e abbinamenti dei materiali e dei colori.
Durante la progettazione alcuni dettagli sono stati decisi come ad esempio posizionamento di prese e luci, attacchi di rete e cavi antenne: questi vincolano parzialmente il posizionamento di letto, armadio e scrivania ma ci affidiamo alla creatività dei professionisti per caratterizzare il tutto rispettando i vincoli.

Alcuni elementi base caratterizzeranno tutte e tre le stanze:

* Altezza soffitto 2,74m
* Bocchette della aria condizionata canalizzata h2,60m
* Gola per nascondere l’attacco della tenda sopra le finestre

È il maggiore, e furbamente ha scelto la camera più ampia.
Ha già necessità di studiare e quindi di una scrivania.
Non vuole un letto a soppalco ma vorrei ad ogni modo inserire un letto aggiuntivo nascosto per ospitare degli amici all’occorrenza.
La mamma desidera un buono spazio per l’abbigliamento e, una area per appendere le giacche e felpe in uso.
Jacopo è un appassionato di lego (che gli piacerebbe esporre) e di auto sportive.
Serve anche una zona di ricovero di giocattoli, non molti perché la casa è dotata di una play room.
La camera ha come dotazione base anche l’attacco tv.
Non ci piacciono gli armadi a ponte.
Illuminazione tramite centrovolta e lampade da tavolo.

Fratello di mezzo ha una camera ancora discretamente grande.
Gli piacerebbe avere un letto a soppalco (noi però apprezzeremmo che la si possa già prevedere la posizione del letto singolo “basso” per il futuro) con una area gioco/ lettura sotto.
La mamma desidera un buono spazio per l’abbigliamento e, una area per appendere le giacche e felpe in uso.
Ha espressamente richiesto una camera che usi il blu come colore predominante ma in qualsiasi tonalità e applicazione (muro, mobili, soffitto… libera interpretazione) e le stelle che si illuminano di notte.
Ama anche lui le costruzioni ma non da esposizione, i trenini e i travestimenti (tema super eroi) e di imitazione (fireman, Doctor, builder, etc..).
La camera ha come dotazione base anche l’attacco tv.
Non ci piacciono gli armadi a ponte.

Ultimo della cucciolata, gli è toccata la camera più piccola.
Qui c’è davvero da fare un esercizio attendo dello studio degli spazi e dei colori per aumentare i volumi e rendere vivibile la camera.
Qui accettiamo anche l’uso di armadi a ponte ma richiediamo che siano un po’ particolari. Per il momento dorme in un lettino montessoriano 70x120 (MontessoriBed_120x70.jpg ma dobbiamo prevedere che nei prossimi 2 anni passerà ad un letto singolo di dimensione standard.
La mamma desidera un buono spazio per l’abbigliamento e, una area per appendere le giacche e felpe in uso.
Gli piace arrampicarsi e giocare con ogni tipo di pallone…
In questo momento ha una fissa per i super eroi.
La camera ha come dotazione base anche l’attacco tv.
