The interior design project has been conceived in response to your requests, while keeping the existing structures and floors unchanged. The main objective was to revisit the arrangement of furnishings to make the studio apartment more functional, accessible, and spacious, while giving it a more refined and modern style. Below, we describe the main modifications and design choices:

Living Area:
• Relocation of the sofa bed to the wall to improve space distribution.
• Introduction of a wall-mounted TV with an adjustable arm, positioned flexibly to allow viewing from both the kitchen dining table and the sofa.
• Creation of a smartworking area with a desk near the window.
• Preservation of the antique console, placed at the entrance of the living area, creating a blend of classic and modern styles.
• Use of open shelving for displaying various items and wall decorations.
2. Sleeping Area:
• Creation of a division with the bed area through a glass wall to maintain brightness in the zone.
• Introduction of blackout curtains to ensure privacy when the sofa bed is in use by guests.
• Use of a double bed measuring 140x190.
3. Kitchen:
• General redistribution of functions to optimize space while retaining existing utility connections.
• Use of Ikea kitchen modules, Stensund model, featuring interesting door decorations suitable for the house's style.
• Space for a freestanding fridge, whether keeping the original or replacing it.
• Increased workspace and a pantry with two columns.
• Relocation of the dishwasher near the sink and the washing machine in the bathroom to further separate the kitchen and laundry areas, minimizing noise in the kitchen.
4. Dining Area:
• Preservation of the existing table, as requested.
• With the new kitchen layout, there is the possibility and space to use a new round table, 80 cm in diameter, to accommodate up to 4 people in case of guests.
5. Balcony:
• Accessibility maintained from both patio doors.
6. Bathroom:
• Option to repaint or resin-coat the walls to modernize the bathroom.
• Replacement of the bathroom cabinet with a deeper one, allowing the current washing machine to be positioned beneath it, creating adjacent service space for detergents and more.
• Washer drainage shared with the sink.
In conclusion, the final result of the Parisian apartment is a harmonious blend of classic and modern styles, with neutral and natural tones creating a welcoming atmosphere. Despite limited space, the design is efficiently organized, transforming the apartment into an authentic Parisian gem.
