Briefing

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION (FURTHER THERE WILL BE ALSO A VERSION IN ITALIAN)
This is an interior design contest for a coworking and start-up accelerator space in an industrial district.
The scope of the project is: style, space furnishment, floors, lights where theres'no ceiling, interior design layout. The maps are defined and there's not much flexibility left.
Building renovation has just started and the interior will be ready to be furbished in 3-4 months time.
The space organized in 4 floors: groundfloor, mezzanine, first floor and second floor.
Ground floor will be dedicated to events and conferences and the big room has to be designed to this this scope.
The mezanine floor has a "terrace" with open view on the conference room and closet to be used for storage (tables, chairs etc). Terrace destination is open for your creativity.
The firts floor is where the coworking space will be located. This is the most critical area to design. In terms of functionality it has to serve the purpose of flexibility and diversification in terms of kind of activities / work to be done and privacy required. Hence we do expect variety of set up of desks / table compositions with the ambition of having the options of changing layout at need (please do consider at least a portion of tables on wheels!). At the first floor we aim at a capacity of 30 people. At this floow we have the kitchen that has also to serve the purpose of bar to be used also for breaks and chats. In front of the kitchen we want to have a relax area. The meeting rooms in the center of the map have glass doors with metal frames (we would like to see environments options with both grey and dark metal frames as alternatives). At this floor there will be also a reception, our office and a reserved meeting room to run job interviews with regular drywalls. We aim at a solution at this floors with lockers for personal belonging rather than closed drawers.
The second floor is mainly for closed offices for start-up, companies and professionists (lawyers, business consultant etc). At this floor you find the board room as well. All offices and the 2 meeting rooms at the center of the map have glass walls with frames (same concept as first floor) but the board room has regular drywalls to preserve privacy. The map of the second floor is uploaded in two options, we want to see a project for both options.
Overall caratheristics to keep in mind when designing are: flexibility, creativity, activity based work stations and a layout that takes in accout the walkways flows.
The space will be a community for both junior and young people and Senior and entrepreneurs. It cannot be too casual as it has to be a confy place also for 50/60 + years old senior managers used to corporate environment. At the same time we don't want to have a too corporate nor a too formal environment as it has to foster creativity and innovation and coworkers needs to feel at ease. Some of the details are reported directly in the map. We don't mind seeing projects with colored walls possibly also considering corporate colors (see the logo uploaded in the pics).
Budget available for furnitures overall (including lights only where is regular ceiling hence lights not to be considered for the areas with falseceiling) 60-70 K€. All items (furnitures, lights, apparel etc) requires retails / distribution in Italy. Floors cost are not to be considered in the budget.

Questo è un concorso di interior design per uno spazio di coworking e di accelerazione start-up sito un distretto industriale.
Lo scopo del progetto è: stile, arredamento, scelta dei pavimenti, luci dove non c'è il controsoffitto, layout di interior design. Le mappe allegate sono per lo più definitive, si tratta dei progetti approvati ee non è rimasta molta flessibilità.
La ristrutturazione degli edifici è appena iniziata e gli interni saranno pronti per essere arredati in 3-4 mesi.
Lo spazio è organizzato su 4 piani: piano terra, soppalco, primo piano e secondo piano.
Il piano terra sarà dedicato a eventi e conferenze e la grande sala deve essere progettata per questo scopo. Il piano soppalco ha una "terrazza" con vista aperta sulla sala conferenze e poi c'è un ripostiglio per nascondere tavoli, sedie, ecc.. Non sappiamo bene come utilizzare lo spazio del soppalco, pertanto puoi lasciare spazio alla tua creatività. Il primo piano è dove si troverà lo spazio di coworking. Questa è l'area più critica da progettare. In termini di funzionalità deve servire allo scopo di flessibilità e diversificazione in termini di tipo di attività / lavoro da svolgere e privacy richiesta. Quindi ci aspettiamo una varietà di allestimenti di scrivanie / composizioni di tavoli con l'ambizione di avere le opzioni per cambiare il layout in caso di necessità (si consideri almeno una porzione di tavoli/scrivanie su ruote!). Al primo piano puntiamo a una capacità di 30 persone. A questo piano abbiamo la cucina che deve anche servire lo scopo del bar da utilizzare anche per pause e chiacchierate durante i breaks. Di fronte alla cucina vogliamo avere un'area relax. Le sale riunioni al centro della mappa hanno porte in vetro con cornici in metallo (vorremmo vedere alternative di ambienti con cornici in metallo grigio e nero). A questo piano ci sarà anche una reception, il nostro ufficio e una sala riunioni riservata per eseguire colloqui di lavoro con muri regolari. Miriamo a una soluzione a questi piani con armadietti per gli oggetti personali piuttosto che cassetti chiusi/armadi.
Il secondo piano è principalmente per uffici chiusi per start-up, aziende e professionisti (avvocati, consulenti aziendali, ecc.). A questo piano si trova anche la sala riunione direzionale (Board Room) Tutti gli uffici e le 2 sale riunioni al centro della mappa hanno pareti di vetro con cornici (lo stesso concetto del primo piano), ma la sala riunioni direzionale ha pareti regolari in cartongesso per preservare la privacy. La mappa del secondo piano viene caricata in due opzioni, vogliamo vedere un progetto per entrambe le opzioni.
Le caratteristiche generali da tenere a mente quando si progetta lo spazio sono: flessibilità, creatività, stazioni di lavoro basate sull'attività e un layout che tiene in considerazione i flussi di camminamento delle persone.
Lo spazio sarà una community per giovani e Senior e imprenditori. Non può essere troppo informale in quanto deve essere un luogo anche per i senior manager di 50/60 anni che sono abituati all'ambiente aziendale. Allo stesso tempo, non vogliamo avere un ambiente troppo aziendale o troppo formale in quanto deve promuovere creatività e innovazione e i membri della community devono sentirsi a proprio agio. Alcuni dettagli sono riportati direttamente nella mappa. Ci interessa vedere progetti anche con pareti colorate, magari considerando anche i colori aziendali (vedi il logo caricato nelle foto).
Il Budget disponibile per gli arredi in generale (comprese le luci dove non c'è il controsoffitto) è 60-70 K €. Tutti gli articoli (mobili, luci, abbigliamento ecc.) Richiedono vendite al dettaglio / distribuzione in Italia. Nel budget non sono da considerarsi i costi dei pavimenti che sono a parte.
