House organization:
I've tried to make the house organization the most clear and functional as possible.
First of all I've considered opportune move the bedroom in the environment currently occupied by the livingroom and vice versa in order to clearly distinguish a sleeping area and a living area.
In this way kitchen and living room are placed in communication and, in addition to a higher system functionality, the two enviroments mutually enjoy of spatial continuity.
In fact, the space expands and through the openings it is possible to perceive completely the development of the environments. This feature will also ensure a better natural lighting and, during the warm season, better ventilation (for air-feedback).
The spatial continuity between kitchen and living room is emphasized by a wall system (which regulates the development of the wall, absorbing in its thickness the plant column) that organizes and makes environments more functional.
The entrance and the hallway are equipped with a bench, a wardrobe, shelves and bookcases (open and closed by doors). To dilate the space to perception is proposed the sunken portion of this space at a height of 256 cm (in order to hide the projection of the beams). In this way the proportions will change in favor of the corridor width. In the false ceiling will be also placed the spotlight for artificial lighting.
Finishing:
For the walls are suggested light colors (white).
For the flooring of all the apartment except the bathroom is proposed an oak industrial parquet, which will make warm and welcoming the environment. This is an elegant, practical and economical solution.
Its thickness ensures durability as well as the possibility to be counterbored several times.
It means less waste and comes from timber recovered from other processes.
For the bathroom is instead suggested a ceramic or porcelain tile flooring.
