Description

The interior of the Dental Studio features a modern, fluid, sleek design elements representative of space's intended functionality. Walls were curved along corners and edges implying a soft, friendly, and welcoming environment to both clients and employees. Spatial arrangement suggests contagious open spaces with the utilization of frameless glass doors and wall partitions. The studio was so designed focusing much more on the adaptation of the current apartment to the new intended purpose bearing in mind practicality and good design.

In the spatial arrangement, the reception and waiting area (lobby) were made to be near the entrance as these are the immediate spaces needed by the clients as they enter the clinic. Privacy issues were addressed for such spaces with partial wall separation and maintaining considerable distance in between them. On the other hand, the long hallway may be used for showcasing dental health related pieces. Regarding the combined sterilization and dental laboratory, they were located at equal distances to all the treatment rooms it serves. The new two restrooms were positioned so as to take advantage of the current apartment bathroom and the existing windows along the exterior wall. The interior design also utilized a combination of indirect and recessed lighting systems to create a diffused and well-lit environment.
