I had my preliminary decisions about the layout of the flat. L shaped balcony has a south-east side so it is right to use it as a part of living room. Front side balcony should belongs to master bedroom. And the last one should serve as a service balcony.
When you enter your apartment you have your mudroom storage on the left side. It should have a well oriented facade for your stuff, door of master bedroom and entrance to living room. This facede can be just like the one you have already. I prefer not to have a door for your living room but you can if you like.
In my opinion, as a parent who has very young children, you need to be near them while dealing with your works. So I tried to have a huge living room with an open kitchen. If you need to resell the flat in the future, you can just rebuilt the wall between two flats.
For your privacy it is a a good idea to locate master bedroom far from others. You will have your own bathroom. In this way you will have more wardrobe around it. However, if you need you can change the place of the master bedroom's door.
Moreover, there is a private corridor for bedrooms of your children. I hide a huge storage with a sliding shutter to the opposite facade. You can use it as a laundry and you may like to have a folding iron table fixed to that cupboard.
