Description

The concept of the project tries to elaborate two very similar departments in terms of surfaces and organization of spaces. For each of them, a running balcony has been proposed on the main façade through a second façade on a back plane, where the subdivision for both departments is through a sheet of tempered glass integrated into the setting with vegetation. The original facade is visualized through a mechanical system of glass shutters that can be adjusted according to the climatic condition of the area, however it respects the outline and modulation of the original windows. For both departments, the living room plus two bedrooms are organized towards the main facade, a third bedroom is oriented towards the rear facade. The kitchens, toilets and laundry rooms are strategically organized so that hydraulic supplies and sanitary drains can be carried out through lines attached to walls or through a sanitary base. The kitchens are integrated into the living room through a sliding glass door in square, which allows them to be isolated in case the cooking processes can invade the rest of the apartment. The environments are differentiated through the height of the false ceilings that are offered in each space, for the dining room a steel and wood structure is proposed that emphasizes a warmer environment with direct and indirect lighting, this element is born from the dividing wall between the living room and the kitchen and ends on the balcony facade as an ornamental element.
