Description

Dear Client,

I would like to explain what was my idea for “Contemporary barn” contest:

House with detached garage
-garage is 2,5m from the main house. I've gave example of connecting garage/storage/utility area with roof between them.
-The main entrance is from east side and visible from the street. Second entrance is close to garage.
Sleeping area: contains master bedroom, bedroom- on east, bathroom with sauna for 2 and small laundry -on west.
Main area: contains : service area (entrance, corridor with closet, second bathroom (which can also use guests, that is why is closer to living area) and pantry, living/dinning kitchen area. I've gave 2 examples of space distribution in living/dinning/kitchen area
Visually I wanted to be recognizable what is “main house”, so I’ve decided to achieve that with different heights of ceiling/roofs .
Main access/entry to the house is in glass with wooden sliding shades.
Porch is on the south, with enough space for dinning table and lounge area.

In "External perspective from 4 sides with dimensions" section, there are:
- 2 options considering one option which goes a bit above 630 sqm (same height and detached garage/storage area). If garage is not an option at all, I would eliminate the roof above garage and leave storage/utility area between parking and house.
- propositions of colors and materials which I found very attractive and how I've imagine Contemporary barn! :)

Thank you !

Kind regards,

Contemporary Barn
