Description

The state of the current state house is left unaltered except for entrance : on the right side a French window connects to the new home. This link creates a terrace accessible from the second floor. The new house has been designed from a blank space: there are two bedrooms; a central bathroom with laundry room accessible from the back door that links to the garden; a studio (open space) with a bookcase built in subscale. So the ground floor is divided in three main areas: sleeping area on the right, the central services and the living area on the left. The stairs leads to the upper floor dedicated to art studio. The second floor plan has been extended by 13 feet, indoor end outdoor (terrace). This terrace extends on the connection between the two structures (on the lower floor), becoming connection also between the art studio and the attic of the current house. The attic was divided into two parts: the playroom and storage room, accessible by a retractable staircase .The layout of the playroom shows games for children because you did not specify the age of your kids. If they are teenagers, you can leave the sofa with the projector and replace the childhood games with billiards, pinball, table tennis etc because there is enough space for them. Skylights are included in the roof of playroom to make the space brighter. The concept project includes also a proposal for the back garden, according to the plan supplied by the client .
