I had the opportunity to work as a Project Architect Intern at WeWork for the Enterprise team in the branch of custom solutions. The enterprise team was in charge of bringing large companies interested in WeWork spaces and adapting them to their necessities. I was in charge of making design layouts, execution layouts and the construction supervision of my projects. I worked for North LATAM and did projects for Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Colombia, Costa Rica, Argentina and Brazil. This experience taught me how to work with Revit, at an advanced level and with the most advanced tools and technologies available today for construction and architecture.
Project architect
Taller de arquitectura Mauricio Rocha + Gabriela Carrillo
Jan 2020 / Jul 2020
I had the opportunity to work as an Architecture Intern with award winning architects Muricio Rocha and Gabriela Carrillo at the last phase of the enlargement and remodeling project for the Anahuacalli Museum of Diego Rivera, located in Coyoacán, Mexico City. I was in charge of the conceptual and executive project for the main entrance of the museum and the audio visual/ maintenance building. The maintenance building consisted of the remodeling and enlargement of the warehouse designed by Mexican renowned architect and painter Juan O’Gorman. Thanks to this project the warehouse was restored and now it will house the restoration laboratories, the main workshop, the control room, the public bathrooms and the audio visual room of the museum. Working in this project was a great opportunity to learn the responsibility that it entails to intervene in a World Heritage building with a large social responsibility and how to make a project to the smallest detail while managing the difficulties of construction.
