Brief: The design and construction of a new headquarters with provision for seven dance studios designed to high acoustic standards, a large performance space and support facilities.

Role: I joined the project team in 2008 during technical design and my involvement continued until completion in 2010. My main duty was the production of detailed/technical and production design drawings. Secondary to this role I supported the Project Architect in client liaison, contract administration, design team leadership and project management.

My work provided me with a large amount of experience in the detailed design of buildings where high quality and attention to detail are essential. Regular site presence also provided me with a strong background in contract administration. My contributions directly helped the scheme complete within budget and achieve the client’s brief of creating a landmark building.
