Located in downtown Toronto, this bathroom belongs to an charming historic house. The owners, a young couple, where looking to increase the space in the bathroom as much as possible while preserving the mid-century appeal of the rest of the house.
The solution was to take space from one of the adjacent rooms and change the layout in order to increase the functional space… and this is how it became possible to have a shower, free standing tub, toilet, and beautifully massive vanity. To make the space look even bigger, a mirror from wall to wall, and from the vanity to ceiling was added.
The final touch to increase the feeling of big and open space was to keep a light, clean palette of whites.
