With a great location in downtown Toronto, this 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment needed a fresh, modern, functional design.The main limitation for this place was the low ceilings, with barely 8ft height, and the limited amount of space in general, being a bachelor apartment.

So for this project the main 2 objectives would be, make the place look a lot bigger than it really is, and create the maximum amount of storage without making it feel cluttered. With such limited space the solution came from thinking outside of the box. Instead of going for traditional height furniture, low pieces were selected for the sofa, bed and tables. By dropping the height of the furniture the space immediately looks bigger.
