The project concerns the arrangement of the main living area of the apartment.
Entering the house there is a large room divided into two parts: an entrance and a large living room that communicates with the kitchen .
The entrance is designed as a space for studing or relaxing, with a reclining table on the left of the front door and a library on the back of the couch.
Adjacent to it, there is a comfortable armchair for relaxing and consulting books .
A large white sofa with peninsula is located in the middle of the living room, it’s adjacent to the window and it faces the television placed on the wall.
One of the two passages that connect the room to the kitchen is closed up with a 90 cm wall, finished with a wooden natural top.
It was necessary to close a part of the wall to allow the arrangement of the furniture in the kitchen, but we chose to close partially the passage, to improve the interior lighting of the kitchen.
In the existing recess there are wooden shelves in natural color, for the exposition of the entire CD collection and a for a good stereo .
The tv is Placed on the wall that is facing the main door entrance .
There is also a pouf that can be placed freely in the room .
This room is characterized by the presence of arcades; instead of decorating them as requested, the project wants to value them by lighting system.
So the design of the false ceiling is characterized by light cuts along the side walls plus three central asymmetric cuts, that generate a diffuse lighting effect. The use of LED for this illumination allows the lowering of costs.
Furthermore the project doesn’t suggest the use of cache radiator because that kind of system reduces the energy heating performance.
The arcades between the entrance and the dining room are enhanced with crystal shelves in correspondence to the pillar.
The second room is divided into two main area: the saloon and the dining room.
In correspondence with the great arch there is the bar: a wooden bar desk with stools which separates the kitchen from the dining room.
Closed to the bar there is a furniture to the arrangement of wine bottles.
In the dining room a large glass table is located in the center, with lighting ceiling directly above it.
The existing recess has been design with a closet for coats, a shoe rack and glass shelves to use as a sideboard.
On the opposite wall there is a bench with large pillows. The wall behind it has been decorated with old empty frames colored in white.
All of these spaces have been designed to be cozy, bright and modern.
The two rooms are characterized in different way: the living room style is smart, with soft and natural colors (eg wood), and the prevalence of white allows a light reflection to increase the brightness of the room.
The saloon and the dining room are more elegant, but with a touch of originality and creativity (eg, the wall decorated with white frames).
