The original structure was 15 sqm single-storey tool shed behind the main house which the owner wanted to turn into vacation rental. Since we couldn't enlarge the original floorplan we decided that the best approach would be going up. So I created the upper level with sleeping loft and balcony for guests to enjoy the view of the sea. In the lower level is eat-in kitchen, bathroom and separate living room which doubles as additional sleeping room.
