Description

Living_room_Santa_Rosa For the interior design of this flat it was generated a full warm atmosphere attending to describe the lifestyle and the needs of the owners. Since the budget by brief is average, the existing wooden floor and the staircase that leads to the bedrooms were used as they are in the new proposal. Entering to the home, there is the living room area. In order to increase light and height, a mirror plafond was installed across the whole ceiling resulting in a dramatic effect. A large corner sofa was set in front of the TV for relaxation. The space is consist also of some coffee tables and a shelving unit. The TV is placed in a wall that is used as a divider between living room and dining room area. At the bottom part of this divider was placed a bioethanol fireplace which is both seen while relaxing or dining, needs no chimneys and gives a cozy atmosphere. Finally, at the narrow side of this wall were set some extra shelves for storing books or dvd. Just opposite to the entrance and under the staircase, a laptop table accommodates a small studio area in the living room. In the dining room a 6 seats table is proposed, in front of the fireplace enabling also the view from the window to the backyard. The dining area is emphasized by the acrylic framed light on the ceiling, giving to the room a bold splash of color. Colors and textures The walls are painted in a light grey brown color tone which comports with the wooden floor and tha staircase. The neutral grey sofa is composited with some strong color cushions, while most of the furnitures have glass or inox details that reflect light and make the space seem larger. Additional color effect is given by the different light sources and the paintings on the wall.
