Project Statement for "Yellow House" Renovation

Our primary focus was on modern spatial reconfiguration, aligning with the client's vision. This design emphasizes open, fluid spaces with natural light and cohesive areas. We integrated vintage elements into the kitchen, living room, and accent walls to blend warmth and nostalgia with modern efficiency.

Neutral-toned wood, indicative of Scandinavian design, was used in wall panels, flooring, and cabinetry to enhance simplicity and elegance. The merging of sub-spaces promotes spatial unity and functional overlap, optimizing the daily life flow and creating a harmonious living environment.

Importantly, the removal of previous elements in the design and renovation process has not only led to larger spaces but has also provided users with enhanced experiences of collective and creative activities. This approach ensures that the redesign not only meets practical needs but also enriches the overall living experience.

In the submitted documents and visuals, we aimed to illustrate the transformation process from demolition and removal to the addition of new elements. We then proposed furniture arrangements in the newly fluid and shared spaces. Finally, we provided interior design suggestions to the client.
