According to me, a mediterranean apartament should be full of warm light and shadows at the same time (to get some freshness during summertime) and spaces have to be clear, simple and generous, as a white canvas on which paint your life. So I also intended the White Zone inspiration from the client. The main idea is to create a wide, fluent living area, separated from kitchen with few essential elements: in a big family is essential to get enough possibilities to move around without crossing with the others activities. You enter in the night zone with a small gap, that allows the en suite bathroom without losing the fluent movement. In order to offer more amenities to the family, the 3rd bathroom is indipendent from the laundry and has a shower in it.
I offer two options, with more or less openess, those can easily mix-and-match. One offers more space in the masterbedroom and a strongest separation in the living area, thinking about simoultaneous activities, those can disturb each others. The other one requires less effort in the works of the original walls and get a complete openspace feeling in living room. The furniture is the same for both option and I got to use all the beloved old pieces, just changing the color (whitish) of the antique ones. The existing floor is amazing, so it would be the right choice to keep it where possible and make a treatment in order to get it lighter.
