Hello everyone, we are a young couple and we are arranging to go home to live with. We ask your help because we are in total confusion.
It is a small ground floor apartment with garden in a building of 4 homes.
Enclosed you will find a floor plan in DWG with the situation and a floor plan designed by us with a solution for the bathroom, which has expanded into the living room (we like a lot, but we are also open to other solutions).
Currently floors were removed, substrates, coatings, healthcare systems, and the plank partition between the kitchen and living room. The rest of the floor boards are still standing and can be changed (without distortions).
For completeness, I tell you that there is also a downstairs used as a garage and laundry room where the washing machine will be placed.
In principle the house must not be distorted but perfected to be made more current and especially functional.
SLEEPING:
Must remain the 2 bedrooms.
In our wanted a walk-in closet large enough (if you want you can move the plank adjacent to the kitchen). All this, however, keeping the head of the bed facing east.
The bathroom must contain a shower, bath, washbasin and sanitary suspended, as in the proposed design from us.
LIVING AREA:
In this area we are much more uncertain, the sure thing is that the kitchen is open to living room.
We really like the idea of having a large peninsula facing the living room with fires and a beautiful cape hanging from the ceiling. I have the shutters in front of the window so I have to leave space for lean.
In the rest of the stay we would like to place a nice large table, while the rest of the space to dedicate to the sofa area. In particular there is to find the right position for 2 sofas (or one wide-angle), the TV and a fireplace pellet. For technical issues the fireplace can be placed only at points A or B
It would be perfect to have a seat next to the fireplace to sit and warm (not essential).
It would be helpful, but not essential, to find space for a small closet or a built-in cupboards.
At the time we were able to find only in the Closet (a bit small) in the hallway, but everything at the expense of the bathtub that I had to reduce.
This utility (or an additional built-in cupboards) should not be invasive, otherwise we settle for what we thought we.
At the entrance (at point C) would like something, perhaps with the drywall, where to get the shelves and put your keys and stuff that makes even a modicum of masking the sofa area, without taking up too much space to the living area.
STYLE, MATERIALS AND COLORS:
We would like a basic style and warm. The main color should be white, or other light colors.
To counter the floors are in parquet color medium / dark, slightly rustic (see attached photos).
The floors will also be in the bathroom while the shower floor (from the step above) will be in gray resin cement trowel as well as all the bathroom walls.
The rest of the house will be white, at most a wall you can invent something to get away for a while.
A wall would be nice with the paintings as in the attached picture.
The kitchen we imagine a smooth, matte white throughout.
Few pieces of furniture, to the tv just a shelf or cabinet bottom, and a beautiful lamp in the sofa area.
Thank you all and good work.
