We’re a young couple and we want to remodel our newly-bought apartment in Rome. The floor plan should not be drastically changed; therefore the current arrangement of the living area and the sleeping area remains the same; only modifying some aspects. We’d like to insert a ventless fireplace with gas (with no flue or chimney) in the living area and an island in the kitchen. We would like the living area and the kitchen to be merged into one another, with the possibility to be separated at any moment. We’d like to have a sort of laundry room on the kitchen’s balcony.
The sleeping area: In the main bedroom (the one with the balcony), we’d like to insert a bathroom with a bathtub and a light color palette. In the same bedroom, we also like a walk-in closet.
The smaller bathroom should have a shower and a dark color palette, including black. We would like to have a guest room with a double bed and the third room to be used as a study, that can turn into a third bedroom.
We would also like to insert seats in the balcony in order to create a habitable ambient.
We’d like to receive a detailed and well-thought proposal for the furniture schema. We prefer a contemporary English style, that should be very pertinent to the reference photos that I have uploaded.
