In the italian capitol Rome, a young couple asked to renovate their newly apartment, a 130 sqm into a building block.
The main targets are: merge the kitchen with the linving, create a private bathroom and a walk in closet inside the master bedroom.

Without overturn the real situation, the night area keeps on course the actual layout except for the master bedroom that was provided with a walk in closet and a private bathroom, furthermore some changes interested also the second bathroom, a bit larger with a big and confortable shower cabine.

The biggest change have taken place in the living thought as an open space with the kitchen "Containare" in white walls; a sliding door white colored allows to entry into the kitchen and the sliding temperd glass window connects visually to the dinner area. At the same time, through the mentioned systems, the two environments can be separated in order to avoid interference.

At the center of the living is a double side fireplace with two sash window in glass and gas powered, it's installed inside a body made in wood or dry wall and covered in "Travertino" the tipical local stone. Three shelfs in oak wood at each side let's store books and small decorative items.

That body, in addiction to satisfy the client request for the fireplace, let's separate the space into two different functions: so they will have the dinner area with an extendable table fo six and the seating corner to the opposite side.
