ITALIANO: L’idea progettuale è scaturita dall’analisi congiunta del contesto, caratterizzato da tessuto a bassa densità, e dai materiali da costruzione tipici di queste abitazioni. Si è quindi sviluppata l’idea di creare un volume semplice, che riprendesse le caratteristiche chiave del luogo, renterpretandole in chiave moderna.
La modellazione del blocco originario e la creazione di aggetti sono stati il passo successivo, in grado di garantire riparo da intemperie e sole nella parte esterna della casa. Il volume così ottenuto è poi stato rivestito utilizzando i materiali da costruzione tipici, quali il granito, ampiamente utilizzato come materiale da costruzione nel passato ed il legno. Il resto è rivestito in stucco bianco; i colori chiari così ottenuti permettono di ridurre notevolmente il carico solare. Sul retro del complesso è stata posizionata la piscina, per questini di privacy e di favorevole esposizione solare. Questo spazio, avvolto dalla pavimentazione lignea trattata, accoglie la piscina stessa ed un angolo cottura esterno, ideale per barbecue. Il verde del giardino costituisce la bordatura esterna dell’area oggetto di intervento, armonizzando l’inserimento del progetto col contesto e fornendo un adeguato impatto visivo sia per i proprietari, sia per il vicinato. Infine un’area in stile giardino ZEN caratterizza l’accesso al lotto.
Gli spazi interni della villa sono stati concepiti cercando di creare una netta separazione tra zona giorno e notte, permettendo di mantere un adeguato livello di privacy. La prima è concepita come grande open space: lo spazio si sviluppa attorno al camino, elemento centrale che ordina lo spazio e lo definisce. Qui si dislocano una zona hobby ed il salone vero e proprio con doppia esposizione posto in contiguità con l’area cucina (con piano di lavoro centrale), in puro stile moderno. E' stato impostato inoltre dello spazio per un locale dispensa ed un locale lavanderia.
Ogni camera è stata dotata come da richieste di letto matrimoniale e bagno dedicato, riuscendo a mantenere ampi spazi per armadiature e spazi di lettura/studio. Nella camera matrimoniale inoltre è stato posizionata una cabina armadio ricavata da setti continui con la struttura, così da risultare completamente integrata ed in continuità con lo spazio.
Elemento rilevante della casa dal punto di vista del risparmio energetico è il tetto giardino. Questa soluzione permette di abbattere radicalmente i consumi, in quanto offre un contributo gratuito al raffrescamento e/o al mantenimento della temperatura interna e permette il parziale recupero delle acque meteoriche.
ENGLISH: The idea for this project was brought to life by the analysis of both the context, based on low density urban fabric and their typical building materials. Starting from those pricipals we designed a simple volume to reiterate the key features of the nearby buildings in a modern way.
The result of this modern villa is a semanthical bridge between old and new materials, that at the same time develops simple but cosy spaces. The next step was the modeling of the initial volume to obtain new shapes and projections, ideal to take shelters from the elements once on the outside of the house. The latter is wrapped whith granite stone, widely used to build in the past, wood and white plaster. The bright colors allows tho lower the solar load of the house. On the backyard a pool area, is placed there for privacy and favorable exposure matters. There we designed a wooden floor that hosts the pool itself and an outside cookokg spot, ideal for barbecues. The garden creates a natural edge of the area, harmonizing the project with the surrounding. On the front side the ZEN garden defines the house entrance providing a striking entrance to the space.
The interior spaces of the villa were designed with a strict separation between living and night areas, granting the possibility to preserve the privacy of certain spaces if wanted. The first is developed as an open space that unravels around the fireplace, the pivotal element that order the house. We find there the living room in contiguity with the kitchen (with a central working plan), that provide a modern style to the house.
Furthermore we dedicated a full room to the food storage and a second one to the laundry, spaces that many times are forgotten, yet pretty important for the everyday user.
Every room is furnished with king size bed and personal bathroom, leaving enough spaces to host an ample closet and reading/studying spaces. The master bedroom hosts a walk in closet that we designed striating from the structure of the house itself; this way it looks smooth and completely organic with the space.
One of the peculiar energetic features of the house is the green roof. This solution allows to reduce drastically the energetic consumption providing free cooling and/or temperature holding.
