It was a pleasure to work on this interesting project.
Understanding your wishes and needs, I did not deviate much from your conceptual solution, but I tried to get the most out of it, and yet it is not exactly the same as you suggested.
On the second floor, in addition to the bedrooms and the bathroom, I made space for you for a laundry. It is housed in a closet with a sliding door in the hallway and contains a washing machine, a tumble dryer (one below the other), a sink with a cupboard below and shelves above and a storage closet, which includes an iron and ironing board. .
Custom furniture is provided in the children's rooms. Each of the rooms has a planned bed with an extra bed (for friends when they sleep over), and above the bed over the entire wall is a closet that is cut into a triangle in that part over the bed, and resembles a house. The desk is designed together with a chest of drawer, or storage space for which you certainly know the purpose best. Across from the bed is a shelf for toys, books, a game console, etc.
On the third floor, I left an open space for the living room, dining room and kitchen. The space is designed to accommodate a lot of guests, that is, there are a lot of seats. In addition to sitting in the living room, I placed more storage space under the slope of the roof. For practical reasons, the fireplace and TV are on the same wall one below the other. In case you do not have permission to make a chimney, a bioethanol fireplace is a great solution.
On your small terrace, I made an additional (summer) dining room with a barbecue.
On the large terrace is an oasis for guests and you. Comfortable sofas under the pergola are ideal for cocktail evenings or an open-air cinema.
The entire interior is done in Japandi style. Japandi design is the combination of Scandinavian functionality and Japanese rustic minimalism to create a feeling of art, nature, and simplicity.
