The project aim is to develop a layout plan that valorizes the actual space, without changing drastically the existing functions. For this reason, the two bathrooms (one at the entrance and the other in one bedroom) are kept in the same position as before, so that it is more simple for the plumbing system. We studied two layout options: the first one with 1 bedroom and a large living room and the other with 2 bedrooms and a smaller living room. The kitchen is kept (in both layouts) entering the apartment on the right and it is open on the living room, in order to permit a more open and friendly space, suitable for renting. Version n.1: the living room is situated, entering the house, on the right side, so that it overlooks Via Archimede and includes both existing windows for a better natural illumination. The bedroom has her own bathroom. The kitchenis situated in a position that doesn't damage the view on the living room. This solution is perfect for a single person, or a couple. The elegant living roomallows to take advantage of the space. Version n.2: in this option there are two bedrooms and a smaller living room.
