Tenuto conto delle invarianti come l’ingresso, le finestre, la struttura portante e la posizione della colonna fecale, il progetto risponde alle richieste della committenza che prevedono una più funzionale ripartizione delle superfici dedicate alle varie funzioni già previste nell’attuale configurazione con qualche integrazione.
Con l’eliminazione dei tramezzi che attualmente lo definiscono, l’ingresso viene legato spazialmente alla parte dedicata alla zona giorno. Al grande open-space nel quale svolgere tutte le attività legate alla quotidianità diurna: cucinare, mangiare, rilassarsi, accogliere, si accede in corrispondenza della zona pranzo che si trova fra la cucina, separata idealmente dal resto del living da un’isola-snack adatta al consumo di pasti veloci e alla colazione, e la zona conversazione-relax con un grande divano e la parete attrezzata con mobile TV. Questa parete comincia con il camino a legna che, aperto su tre lati, risulta fruibile da qualunque punto del living nonché appena entrati in casa o usciti dalla zona notte. Parti di soffitto ribassato aiutano la definizione degli àmbiti senza comprimerne gli spazi.
Il pilastro centrale viene isolato; verso l’ingresso un’asola vetrata a tutta altezza lascia passare la luce naturale per illuminare il disimpegno della zona notte al quale si accede dalla porta scorrevole posta dall’altro lato. Sul disimpegno si affacciano le porte delle due camere, dei due bagni e un armadio a muro. Questa parte della casa è lasciata pressocché invariata, infatti l’unica modifica riguarda il ripostiglio che, lasciato nella posizione attuale, cambia nel lato da cui vi si accede che viene spostato verso l’ingresso della casa. Ciò rende più comodo ed immediato l’utilizzo anche, e soprattutto, per chi rientra o esce da casa.
L’area del terrazzo antistante il living potrebbe essere sistemata immaginandola come prosecuzione spaziale e funzionale del living stesso. In continuità con la parete attrezzata, una striscia di piante separa visivamente questa parte del terrazzo dalla parte antistante i bagni e le camere da letto. Termina con un piccolo banco barbeque fornito di lavello. Una struttura leggera protegge quest’area dove ci si potrà sedere a tavola protetti dai raggi solari di giorno o dall’umidità di sera.





Taking into account the invariants such as the entrance, the windows, the supporting structure and the position of the fecal column, the project responds to the client's requests which provide for a more functional distribution of the surfaces dedicated to the various functions already provided in the current configuration with some integration .
With the elimination of the partitions that currently define it, the entrance is spatially linked to the part dedicated to the living area. A large open space in which to carry out all the activities related to daily life: cooking, eating, relaxing, welcoming. It is accessed in correspondence with the dining area located between the kitchen, ideally separated from the rest of the living room by a snack-island suitable for the consumption of quick meals and breakfast, and the conversation-relaxation area with a large sofa and the equipped wall with TV cabinet. This wall begins with the wood-burning fireplace which, open on three sides, can be used from any point in the living room as well as as soon as you enter the house or leave the sleeping area. Parts of the lowered ceiling help define the areas without compressing the spaces.
The central pillar is isolated; towards the entrance a glazed slot allows natural light to pass through to illuminate the hallway of the sleeping area which is accessed from the sliding door on the other side. The doors of the two bedrooms, the two bathrooms and a full-height built-in wardrobe overlook the hallway.
The closet is left in its current position, the side from which it is accessed changes and it is moved towards the entrance of the house, making it more convenient and immediate to use, also, and above all, for those who return.
The terrace area in front of the living room could be arranged by imagining it as a spatial and functional continuation of the livin itself. In continuity with the equipped wall, a strip of plants visually separates this part of the terrace from the part in front of the bathrooms and bedrooms. Finish with a small barbeque counter equipped with a sink. A light structure protects this area where you can sit at the table protected from the sun's rays during the day or from humidity in the evening.
