Thank you for opening this contest. Please find below my proposal for this renovation.
I believe the project is met all the requirements:
1. The villa is divided into 2 houses by vertical division to maximize the view to outside for each house.
House 1: 2/3 area of the ground floor and 1/3 area of the first floor. Because of the access to house 1 is on the ground floor, so I propose to take a large area at the ground floor for common area (living room, dining room and kitchen) which have a wide view to the garden.
House 2: 1/3 area of the ground floor and 2/3 area of the first floor. Because of the access to house 2 is on the first floor, so a large area at the first floor is taken for common area (living room, dining room and kitchen) which have a wide view to outside.
2. Each house has 3 bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms and 1 master bedroom.
The master bedroom is a large bedroom layout with its own walk in closet and master bathroom. The master bedroom of house 2 has a private garden. The master bedroom of house 1 has a private terrace.
3. I propose the living room of house 1 is a sunken living room (if it is possible to dig 40 cm into the ground). Otherwise we can arrange a cozy living room with round sofa.
4. I find it interesting to keep the pool and garden lounge as in the previous option. This area can be served for both houses.
