Description

As requested by the client the space has been divided into two areas, maintaining a sense of open space in the day area, separating the different functions with the flooring, and providing all the spaces needed in the night area.
day/living area: a plasterbord wall unit 2.50 m. high, containing a glass sliding door into wall, separates the kitchen from the living allowing both ventilation and privacy, continuing in the adjacent wall as shelves. in the hallway a large space for storage is available and two openings with fixed glasses towards the kitchen decorate one wall. a grès flooring has been selected for the most stressed dining area and kitchen. for the rest of the living a warm natural oil finish wood flooring has been chosen.
night area: in the night area we find the master bedroom with walk in closet, a big double room, a single room/studio, one full bathroom with bathtub, a second bathroom with big shower and without bidet, a laundry closet and a big wardrobe. the height of the ceiling in the hallway could be lowed down to 2.40 m to allow more storage areas above. the grès flooring variation comes back in the most stressed areas including the laundry closet surroundings.
