Project description

I have prepared two alternative renovation proposals for the apartment, focusing on better space utilization, functionality, and overall comfort.

Proposal 01:
• The kitchen remains in its original location and is designed in an L-shape layout.
• The existing storage opening inside the kitchen was closed, and the storage room door was relocated near the entrance.
• The kitchen is designed as an open kitchen and includes a peninsula with seating, providing all functional requirements.
• Bathrooms:
• The main bathroom was enlarged.
• The second bathroom was converted into a private en-suite bathroom for the master bedroom, including a small storage area.
• The layout includes a master bedroom with a small dressing area, in addition to two other bedrooms, each designed with built-in dressing units integrated into the wall. These units include a bed, vanity, and storage solutions based on needs.
• The living room is designed to include all essential elements, including a TV.
• The home office includes a workstation and a small storage unit. A reference image for the storage unit is attached to help visualize the proposed design.

Proposal 02:
• The kitchen and office locations were swapped.
• The kitchen is designed to be open to the living area, separated by a decorative wooden partition to achieve visual separation while maintaining spatial harmony and efficient use of space.
• Unlike Proposal 01, this option includes a dedicated dining area, as shown in the attached visuals.
• In both proposals, the laundry room is located under the staircase to maximize space utilization.
• The staircase was redesigned to improve comfort and ease of use.

Drawings & Attached Visuals:
• Both proposals are presented as fully furnished layouts.
• Each proposal includes:
• A plan highlighting demolished walls in red.
• A plan highlighting new walls in yellow.
