NEW INFORMATION on 31.3.2016:
– Old installation for sinks will be breaked away (10cm on right side of the plan, see also picture)
– New Installation of WC, sink and shower can be “everywhere” in the room.
This is a pre-project regarding our big house project Toastermuseum II which will be started soon on this platform.
This project is just regarding the bathroom (“Bad” on the floorplan).
We would like to get ideas how we can arrange bath furniture in a best way in the bath room.
Important: Our idea is to have a smaller bathroom as now and therefore a bigger kitchen (“Küche”on floorplan).
The floorplan anclosed shows actual situation.
Main question is: Can we move the red marked wall between bath and kitchen (“Bad” and “Küche”) in floorplan to the right (40, 50, or even 60 cm?) to make kitchen bigger and bath smaller and still get a nice bathroom? So the main task is to make a floorplan for a smaller bathroom. How far we can move the wall to the right you can decide by yourself.
In the bathroom we would like to have at least: One WC, One sink/washbasin (small or large, like it fits) and one shower.
The shower should a ground level shower be 80cm x 80cm minimum in size, but 90cm x 100cm would be better. The heater can be moved if really needed.
Shower could be an open shower with no entry door (see one of the pics).
The actuall sink installations would probably not be easy to break away, so perhaps can stay there if possible?
If furniture can be in the bathrooom additionally (for some stuff like towels or so) it would be appreciated.
There are pictures of our bathroom (it was a bathroom of a Kindergarten). We started the breakaway which you can see on two other photos.
Two further photos shows two furnitures which we have and we could (not must) use in the bathroom. (Measures: 65 x 40 x 180cm high and ca. 120 width x 40 x 150cm high).
As you see we like industiral design and vintage things. 🙂
If you have got ideas for special furniture it would be nice, but the main and important task really is to create a nice floorplan for a smaller bathroom. So that we can decide if we will move the wall and how far we will move it. All the details will be part of our big house toastermuseum project here in cocontest.
We are working on a DWG floorplan and try to deliver it within the next days if needed.
Please don’t hesitate to ask any question. We can make more photos too if needed.
