The project to modify your home includes changes in spatial distribution without affecting the support structure or the perimeter walls of the building. In general terms, to make it more welcoming and modern, the social area is integrated into a single common space that gives a feeling of greater spaciousness and visual spatial cleanliness. The private area on the upper floor was also recharged, leaving only the study-library as a private space on the lower floor.
Specifically for each space it is proposed:
-Compose the entrance of a room with a closet to generate a small anteroom that receives the inhabitants more kindly.
-The kitchenette and the kitchen are integrated into a single space connected by a sliding door. The kitchenette also doubles as a pantry and separate space for food storage.
-The dining room is integrated into a window-door that goes out to the garden and provides light and a nice view to the diners.
-The services of the lower floor (bathroom, laundry) are simply distributed so that they are comfortable, functional and orderly (with a modern touch)
-The study-library is separated from the common space by a wall-sliding door that makes it a public or private space according to the user's needs.
-Bedroom A (10) is the largest and for this reason it is the one that houses a generous walking closet that divides the space to configure a small desk and on the other side a cabinet for TV.
-Bedroom B (12) is also generous and has a slightly smaller but quite comfortable closet space and also an extension to the outside (towards the stairs) is generated to configure a small desk.
- The bathroom on the second floor is extended towards the hallway and to the left, gaining a few square meters and is also designed in an elegant functional way and in a modern style.
