L’ambiente si presenta come una camera vivace e creativa.

L’esigenza era quella di avere le pareti completamente ricoperte da librerie piene di libri. In un ambiente così piccolo il rischio era di creare una stanza claustrofobica e poco luminosa, per cui il mio obiettivo principale è stato quello di mantenere la luminosità e l’armonia della stanza, specialmente perché dovrà essere utilizzata da una bambina di 8 anni che dovrà essere stimolata dall’ambiente che la circonda.
Per questo motivo ho scelto colori molto chiari per gli arredi: il bianco, il crema e il legno chiaro. In aggiunta, ho scelto dei piccoli accenni di rosa ninfea e mirtillo per creare i contrasti e dare vivacità all’ambiente.

Le librerie girano su tutte le pareti, compresa la parete-finestra dove ho inserito una libreria bassa che funge anche da panca per potersi appoggiare e rilassare, magari guardando il paesaggio esterno.

Le postazioni dove potersi stendere e rilassare leggendo sono due: una è, appunto, quella sotto la finestra, e l’altra posizionata in un angolo della stanza e può essere usato sia come un comodo divanetto, sia come un vero e proprio letto.

Infine, ho previsto una piccola postazione scrivania, poco profonda in modo da non essere invasiva, ma comunque utilizzabile per usare un computer o utilizzabile dalla bambina per fare i compiti di scuola.

Questa è la mia proposta di progetto per questa stanza, pensata come un luogo di creatività e immaginazione per una bambina, ma accogliente anche per gli adulti.


The environment looks like a lively and creative room.

The need was to have the walls completely covered with bookcases full of books. In such a small environment the risk was to create a claustrophobic and not very bright room, so my main goal was to maintain the brightness and harmony of the room, especially since it will have to be used by an 8 year old girl who will have to be stimulated by the environment that surrounds it.

For this reason I chose very light colors for the furnishings: white, cream and light wood. In addition, I chose small hints of water lily rose and blueberry to create contrasts and give liveliness to the environment.

The bookcases run on all the walls, including the window-wall where I have inserted a low bookcase that also acts as a bench to be able to lean on and relax, perhaps looking at the external landscape.

There are two places where you can lie down and relax while reading: one is, in fact, the one under the window, and the other located in a corner of the room and can be used both as a comfortable sofa and as a real bed.

Finally, I have provided a small desk, shallow so as not to be invasive, but still usable to use a computer or usable by the child to do her homework.

This is my project proposal for this room, conceived as a place of creativity and imagination for a little girl, but also welcoming for adults.
