Description

The area of ​​the current apartment is divided into two zones, an area where the renovation work is going to be done and another area that is not modified and that may later also be subject to some minor modifications such as floor changes, painting and finishes. In the general proposal of the modified area changes are shown in the kitchen and the floor, this is something optional that would significantly improve the new space, the criteria taken into account for the project are explained below.

The proposal seeks to make the apartment area more efficient
giving a better use to spaces that were being underused, in this way the new required spaces can be added without sacrificing the already formed areas of the apartment. The space of the current living room and dining room is used to configure 2 bedrooms for the children and 1 new bathroom, each bedroom has a window for natural lighting and enough space for closet and complementary furniture, the bathroom also has natural lighting and ventilation and spaces for storage and decorative elements. With the new distribution, a dining room and a more open living room are configured and also fully integrated into the kitchen, opening the kitchen and joining the dining room in the same space, giving the feeling of greater spaciousness and lighting, additionally the social area becomes the center of the house where family activities take center stage, the kitchen being integrated into the social area also becomes a space to share.
The new zoning also manages to have more independent areas, the matrimonial bedroom has its own area and the children's bedrooms are grouped at the other end of the house, all this integrated by a large social area. Another space that becomes more exploited is the entrance, where it is proposed to locate the study or home office, a space that gained great importance due to the new global conditions that made people have to work at home.

Note: The design of the kitchen and the materials of the floor are only proposals that could be built or not, if you decided to do it, it will greatly improve the feeling of spaciousness, if you do not, the new distribution will work well anyway. It is just an idea to consider in the future.
