Hello client, I have proposed the following design option for you after carefully studying your requirements. Hope you like it. The following are the highlighting points in this proposal:

· The terrace is divided into 3 zones. Zone 1- Covered Seating; Zone 2- Open area for children to play & zone 3- open seating, swing and sandbox

· Zone 1 is covered with wooden battens on the ceiling and allows partial sunlight to enter the roof. This gives an interesting effect to the seating under it. I have proposed dining near the terrace door and a sofa seating in the east. The material for the floor is wooden with herringbone pattern which is very popular for outdoor environments. The wall behind the sofa is stone cladded. A storage room on the west is proposed for storing broom and other stuff.

· Zone 2 is an open area which can be used in multiple ways. The existing round planter, which was placed in a corner before, is now placed in the centre and is a highlighting feature of the terrace.

· Zone 3 is more like a fun activity platform for family. It is a wooden deck having an open seating for 4 along the curved wall. It also has a dedicated sandbox space for kid’s entertainment. The parents can sit in the open seating or relax in the swing proposed near it while their children play with sand. The swing also has a very modern pergola design that highlights the terrace.

The wooden deck has a hidden cove LED light which magically lifts up the space in the evening. I have even attached a few reference images for your consideration. Do not hesitate to contact me for any further design related queries.
