Briefing

Abbiamo necessità di sostituire la pavimentazione del nostro terrazzo. Dato che l’intervento è invasivo abbiamo deciso di stravolgere lo stile del nostro spazio esterno. Il design deve essere contemporaneo, fresco, di forte impatto visivo. Non sappiamo se preferire un rivestimento flottante o una gettata di microcemento. Sicuramente vogliamo che sia eccezionalmente duraturo e vogliamo coprire la metà della metratura con una pergola che deve esse autoportante per la normativa del nostro comune. Oggi una serie di vasi con gelsomini ci garantiscono privacy e la vista del verde cui teniamo molto. I gelsomini si sono rivelati la scelta giusta perché sufficientemente rustici da resistere in vaso su un terrazzo esposto a sud, ma perdono molte foglie che intasano i canali di scarico, perciò la scelta di come distribuire il verde sarà strategica. Abbiamo anche necessità di una quinta o un piccolo angolo dove riporre la scopa e qualche piccolo attrezzo. Il terrazzo misura 8*10 mq , nonostante non abbiamo case prossime al nostro spazio, la privacy è importante e come delimitare il perimetro sarà una scelta fondamentale. Siamo alla ricerca di soluzioni contemporanee, vogliamo che sia incluso nell'architettura un elemento che sia di intrattenimento per i bambini ed allo stesso tempo di forte impatto dal punto di vista del design come un' altalena o uno scivolo,un rifugio, una vasca , o una sabbiera. La pergola dovrà coprire la metà dell'area per permetterci di stare all'aperto anche in caso di pioggia lieve. Vorremmo mantenere l'arredo ma non è fondamentale. Particolare attenzione va data alla scelta dei materiali e all'illuminazione che dovrà creare un ambiente suggestivo di sera. Il budget è un punto fondamentale del progetto: non abbiamo ancora definito il nostro tetto di spesa ma valuteremo anche in base questo elemento.

We need to replace the flooring on our terrace. Since the intervention is invasive, we have decided to change the style of our outdoor space. The design must be contemporary, fresh, with a strong visual impact. We do not know whether to prefer a floating coating or a micro-cement pour. We certainly want it to be exceptionally long-lasting and we want to cover half of the square footage with a pergola that must be self-supporting for the legislation of our municipality. Today a series of vases with jasmine guarantee us privacy and the view of the greenery we care about. Jasmines have proved to be the right choice because they are rustic enough to resist in a pot on a terrace facing south, but they lose many leaves that clog the spillways, so the choice of how to distribute the greenery will be strategic. We also need small corner to store the broom and some small tools. The terrace measures 8 * 10 square meters, although we do not have houses close to our space, privacy is important and how to delimit the perimeter will be a fundamental choice. We are looking for contemporary solutions, we want an element to be included in the architecture that entertains children and at the same time with a strong design impact such as a swing or a slide, a refuge, a bathtub, or a sandbox. The pergola will have to cover half of the area to allow us to stay outdoors even in case of light rain. We would like to keep the furniture but it is not essential. Particular attention should be given to the choice of materials and lighting which will create an evocative atmosphere in the evening. The budget is a fundamental point of the project: we have not yet defined our spending ceiling but we will also evaluate this element.

Necesitamos reemplazar el piso en nuestra terraza. Como la intervención es
invasiva, hemos decidido cambiar el estilo de nuestro espacio al aire
libre. El diseño debe ser contemporáneo, fresco, con un fuerte impacto
visual. No sabemos si preferimos un revestimiento flotante o un vertido de
microcemento. Ciertamente queremos que sea excepcionalmente duradero y
queremos cubrir la mitad de los pies cuadrados con una pérgola que debe
ser autosuficiente por la normativa de nuestro municipio. Hoy, una serie
de jarrones con jazmín nos garantizan la privacidad y la vista de la
vegetación que nos importa. Los jazmines han demostrado ser la opción
correcta porque son lo suficientemente rústicos como para resistir en una
maceta en una terraza orientada al sur, pero pierden muchas hojas que
obstruyen los tubos de desagüe, por lo que la elección de cómo distribuir
la vegetación será estratégica. También necesitamos una quinta o pequeña
esquina para almacenar la escoba y algunas herramientas pequeñas. La
terraza mide 8 * 10 metros cuadrados, aunque no tenemos casas cerca de
nuestro espacio, la privacidad es importante y la forma de delimitar el
perímetro será una opción fundamental. Estamos buscando soluciones
contemporáneas, queremos que se incluya un elemento en la arquitectura que
sea de entretenimiento para los niños y al mismo tiempo con un fuerte
impacto desde el punto de vista del diseño, como un columpio o un tobogán,
un refugio, una bañera, o una caja de arena. La pérgola tendrá que cubrir
la mitad del área para permitirnos permanecer al aire libre incluso con
lluvia ligera. Nos gustaría conservar los muebles pero no es esencial. Se
debe prestar especial atención a la elección de los materiales y la
iluminación que crearán un ambiente evocador en la noche. El presupuesto
es un punto fundamental del proyecto: aún no hemos definido nuestro límite
de gasto, pero también evaluaremos en base a este elemento.
