L'idea è stata quella di creare uno spazio confortevole architettonicamente pulito. La zona piscina è stata rialzata di 30 cm per nascondere l'impiantistica della vasca, degli eventuali punti luce e prese di corrente, gli scarichi della doccia e l'impianto di irrigazione delle fioriere. Il pavimento di questa area è stato pensato in teak, elegante e confortevole, che lascia spazio ad una striscia di prato sintetico, una zona quindi da vivere a "piedi nudi" . il resto della terrazza è pavimentato in gress, soprattutto nella zona ristoro dove un pavimento in legno può sporcarsi e usurarsi più facilmente. La cucina è realizzata in muratura, molto più resistente ed economica di un mobile, data la sua esposizione agli agenti atmosferici. Il pergolato in tubolari di acciaio copre la zona ristoro e la scherma dai raggi solari tramite strisce di tessuto chiaro che poi lasciano spazio alle piante rampicanti verso sud. A est e a sud, le zone schermate dalle piante, delle comode sedute scorrono lungo il perimetro della terrazza e nascondono le irregolarità geometriche date dalle 2 canne fumarie.
La piscina è costituita da una vasca di design ma può essere sostituita da una piscina in vetroresina su misura, e rivestita esteriormente magari in teak per uniformarsi allo stile della terrazza.
The idea was to create a comfortable space architecturally clean. The pool area was raised from 30 cm to hide the plant of the tank, any light points and sockets, shower drains and irrigation planters . The floor of this area has been designed in teak, elegant and comfortable, that leaves space for a strip of synthetic grass, then an area to live in " barefoot " . The rest of the terrace is paved in gress , especially in the dining area where a wooden floor can get dirty and wear out more easily. The kitchen is made of masonry , much more durable and economical a mobile, given its exposure to atmospheric agents . The tubular steel trellis covers the dining area and fencing from the sun by strips of light fabric which then give way to climbing plants to the south. To the east and south, the areas shaded by plants , the comfortable seats run along the perimeter of the terrace and hide the geometrical irregularities dates from 2 flues.
The pool consists of a tank design but may be replaced by a custom-made fiberglass pool , and covered externally maybe teak to conform to the style of the terrace.
