The proposal resulted from obtaining a large living-dining area , having in mind to keep and integrate as much of the old furniture as possible (white library, cabinets, lights, bathroom mirror if painted white, bar stools etc. ). We chose to keep the kitchen near the entrance in order to make food storage easier ( groceries bags etc. ) and close to the terrace's laundry place. It resulted also a nice entrance which is to be visualized with a large mirror and a small cabinet ( maybe a white painted already existing one) for shoes etc. For the finishes we chose a classy but modern theme in order to help integrate the furniture, leaving the sense of the house untouched even if modernised.
