For this project we first took into consideration the kitchen - 3.60m length - the owner asked to be part of the proposal. It was difficult because of the small size of the apartment and eventually was chosen to split it into two parts. So the space occupied in the day living area is limited now. Two different solutions are proposed in order to create comfortable high-level spaces.
In proposal ''a'' shortens the bathroom, with basin and bidet to remain in the same position and added a small washbasin. Out of the w.c. on the ‘’window wall’’ constructed counter, all along the wall and placed a large glass washbasin with mirror, while the rest space can be used as a workspace. The shower separately placed on the other side of the room is open, but can be made a glass door.Is drained through the kitchen tubes, exists at that point. Opposite the bed is placed the closet and near at the lower placed drawers and cupboard where the washing machine is hidden. Above those the TV is placed.
In the solution '’b’' we thought to make a radical change in the room layout. Because the apartment now can accommodate 2 + 2 persons, since the sofa in the living room opens into a double bed, it would be better the bathroom not to be in the bedroom, but someplace to have access to all. We know that on that side there are the kitchen drains but first the owners must be check it with a plumber, whether it can accept and bathroom waste watwrs too. The space is large and can be mounted bath or shower. A washing machine (40cm deep) can be under the countertop. Ventilation gives air, while the lighting is done by opening with frosted opaque glass through the bedroom.
The living room with the dining area is about the same in both solutions. In the '' b '' can be placed ‘’L’’ sofa with bed. It should be a structure to hide the pipes and boiler above, with plasterboard or wood.
Unfortunately, at this phase, we cant go into more details concerning the layout and decoration of the space.
