The design decision takes into account all the wishes of the client.
The design concept wants to create an intimate, sophisticated and at the same time functional.

By analyzing the distribution of space:
In the "living area" maintains the kitchen where the existing one. I tried to assume the dimensions of the latter, how you can see from the render. Also included is a sofa bed in the one area that I think is not too cumbersome for passage. The table and chairs are against the wall for a speech to better use the space and make it clear the central part. The niche next to the refrigerator, I thought to exploit the building as a storage room to keep the required serving to cleaning, with two sliding doors and closed padlock / lock.
In the "sleeping" I tried to radically change what is the current bathroom can use. The reason is because I believe that the bedroom should have more natural light as possible and why entering the sleeping area from the living area you have no front wall of the bathroom that stifles slightly spaces.
The bathroom is designed in such a way as to contain within it everything needed, including washing machine. At the bottom of the bath to better optimize the space I inserted a shower tray for the entire length of the head wall, divided in part by a glass.
The bedroom, because I think it is the most "important part" housing, also for the use that will be done, I preferred to raise it by about 30 cm from the floor of the living area. To avoid having cabinets against the walls, I decided to create behind the bed head wall cabinets accessible by two private bedsides. Such a wall has been precisely designed to create a fifth and exploit the space and at the same time to the ceiling, to create a sunken portion and define the footprint area of ​​the bed.

As for the materials and finishes, I wanted to suggest a clear slatted wood effect flooring to ceramic, to make "warm" and welcoming environments.
The two sliding doors which define the storage room are designed as a continuation of the flooring, so as to create a finishing architectural movement, and it is precisely for this reason that the finish may be the same (as render).
In the bath, the same type of flooring but in dark light tone.
The colors of the walls are designed with dark colors, creating a warm and friendly welcome, but of course, you can evaluate multiple color options.

The zones are illuminated with spot lights in the sunken portion plasterboard, which is located in 10/15 cm lower of the ceiling.
Above the bed instead of a veil that defines the space it is 30 cm below the current ceiling. In the vacuum that is created between the two ceilings, it would be very nice place some leds lit create a very nice light game (render).

La scelta progettuale prende in considerazione tutte le volontà della committenza.
Il concept progettuale vuole creare un ambiente intimo, ricercato e allo stesso tempo funzionale.

Analizzando la distribuzione degli spazi:
Nella "zona giorno" viene mantenuta la cucina dove l'esistente. Ho provato a ipotizzare l'ingombro di quest'ultima, da come si può vedere dai render. Inoltre viene inserito un divano letto nell'unica zona che ritengo non sia troppo ingombrante per il passaggio. Il tavolo con le sedie vengono addossati al muro per sfruttare meglio gli spazi e rendere più libera la parte centrale. La nicchia vicino al frigorifero, ho pensato di sfruttarla adibendola a ripostiglio per tenere l'occorrente che serve alla pulizia dell'alloggio, con due ante scorrevoli e chiuse a lucchetto/serratura.
Nella "zona notte" ho provato a cambiare radicalmente quella che è la disposizione attuale del bagno. La motivazione è perchè ritengo che la camera da letto debba avere più luce naturale possibile e perchè entrando nella zona notte dalla zona giorno non si ha frontalmente il muro dell'attuale bagno che soffoca leggermente gli spazi.
Il Bagno è pensato in maniera tale da contenere al suo interno tutto il necessario, compresa la lavatrice. Al fondo del bagno per ottimizzare al meglio lo spazio ho inserito un piatto doccia per tutta la lunghezza del muro di testa, divisa in parte da un vetro.
La camera da letto, siccome ritengo sia la parte più "importante" dell'alloggio, anche per l'uso che ne sarà fatto, ho preferito rialzarla di circa 30 cm dal piano della zona giorno. Per evitare di avere armadi addossati alle pareti, ho pensato di creare dietro alla parete di testa del letto due armadi privati accessibili dai lati del letto. Tale parete è stata appunto concepita per creare una quinta e sfruttare lo spazio e allo stesso tempo al soffitto, per creare un ribassamento e definire l'area dell'ingombro del letto.

Per quanto riguarda i materiali e le finiture, ho voluto ipotizzare una pavimentazione chiara ad effetto legno dogata in ceramica, per rendere "caldo" e accogliente gli ambienti.
Le due ante scorrevoli che definiscono il ripostiglio sono pensate come continuazione della pavimentazione, così da creare un movimento architettonico di finitura, ed è proprio per questo motivo che la finitura potrebbe essere la stessa (come da render).
Nel bagno, la stessa tipologia di pavimentazione ma in tonalità scura.
Le colorazioni delle pareti sono state pensate con colori scuri, così da creare un ambiente intimo e accogliente, ma ovviamente, si possono valutare molteplici soluzioni cromatiche.

Le zone sono illuminate con faretti incassati nel ribassamento in cartongesso, che si trova a 10/15 cm più basso dell'attuale soffitto.
Sopra al letto invece la veletta che definisce lo spazio si trova a 30 cm più in basso dell'attuale soffitto. Nel vuoto che si viene a creare tra i due soffitti, sarebbe molto bello inserire alcuni led che accesi creano un gioco di luce molto bello (render).
