The focus was on arranging the space in a user-friendly manner with a modern design. The functionality of each area was prioritized, and the design was optimized to meet user needs. Embracing a design philosophy characterized by simple and clean lines, unnecessary embellishments were avoided. Neutral color palettes are commonly preferred in modern designs, incorporating softness into the environment through colors such as white, gray, black, and natural tones.
I worked on optimizing the layout based on the positions of windows. I created two apartments with an open living area and kitchen in a 2+1 configuration. To increase storage space in the apartments, I designed a closet and a kitchen island adjacent to the table. For the bathroom in Apartment 1, you can run a 20 cm diameter pipe towards the facade to implement mechanically ventilated electrical ventilation. This is a method we frequently apply to areas without facades.
Considering your preference for budget-friendly furniture, I selected furniture from Ikea that would harmonize with each other within the space. I hope this provides a good solution proposal for your home.
