Description

The design proposal seeks to satisfy the needs of the client in the most efficient and friendly way with the existing building, comfortable and functional spaces were configured in the least invasive way with the existing building and load-bearing walls, in this way it is much easier not to just build the new design but it is also much easier to get approved by local authorities or structural reviews. The main apartment has the largest area and takes advantage of the best facades for the places of permanence of greater hierarchy in the house, in the less valuable area the service area is located, with a comfortable kitchen, laundry and service bedroom. The secondary apartment occupies the most irregular area of the existing building, although it takes advantage of the window with a balcony to give quality to the room of this small apartment. The two apartments have independent accesses from the common hall of the building, the entrances are distributed through an interior hall, this can be part of the common hall of the building or could be made independent with a door. The idea of generating mezzanines was discarded because the height of 4.6, although it is excellent for a single level, is insufficient for 2 habitable quality levels. This height can be used to bring natural lighting to the most internal places such as the study or the living room of the secondary apartment, with high windows on the internal walls of the spaces that do have direct lighting from the outside, in this way spaces could be illuminated through of others.
