Thank you for the opportunity to work on your project and I hope I've managed to meet your needs and expectations.
The main goal in my planning was to make maximum use of the space while creating a place that feels open and spacious. To accomplish that I needed to first zone the functions that will take place in these apartments. There for even though the living area is one open space it hosts many functions and all of them have their own spots. To save space we enter the apartments directly in the living area but by positioning tall cabinets for shoes and jackets we are creating a nook that acts like a small entrance hall, that is practical and it creates a small division in the space that we need. The sofas are placed in a way that can look over the whole room and have broader view. The kitchens are located close to the baths and are planned to be minimal but to have enough space for all the appliances. The extra storage can be placed in the kitchen islands which can also function as a dining area. As an extension of the kitchen island there can be some cabinets or shelving. Positioning this kind of element in Apartment A creates an entrance nook and in Apartment B it creates a separation between the living area and the sleeping area.
The bedrooms in Apartment A are very minimal and simple but they can accommodate up to 4 people if we place bunk beds instead of a single bed. In Apartment B they are a bit more specious and we have more options in their organization..
The baths are keeping their original location so there shouldn't be problems with their renovation. In the plan they are very specious so they can accommodate even a washing machine if its needed.
I tried to covered most of the topics in my explanation part and in the posters but if you have questions don't hesitate to contact me. I hope I offered a good solution for your space. Good luck on the following stages of your project.
