Hello, we’ve just bought a recently renovated apartment, located at the eighth floor of a 1930s building, in an elegant district in Rome.
We would like the living room to be the heart of our home, and that’s why we’re asking your help.
In the room there is a open-plan kitchen with a peninsula which will stay, except for the fridge. We will need a table for four people, extensible if necessary, and an area for the sitting room with one or more sofas to watch TV and relax with our guests.
The room is quite bright, thanks to the two windows, as you may see in the pictures. The French window leads to a very small balcony, not exactly livable, so we would like to make the most of the space inside.
In the living room it would also be useful to place a cupboard.
We like modern style, perhaps with design elements, if well integrated with the context.
Except for the kitchen, nothing of the furnishings you see in the pictures is going to stay. The apartment has a parquet floor and there is a countertop with some spotlights.
As you can see in the planimetry, the walls are a little curved, because the building follows the street.
I will be glad to answer to any question and to give you any more information.
