Hello. I made few ideas for your bathroom. I have worked for more than five years only bathroom and kitchen design. You mentioned that you would like for that bathroom to be special. I made it elegant, but very unique. For me open space is the best. Old functionality in bathroom is ok, but I think that those walls made it smaller than it is. When you look, only one person is using bathroom and there is no need to put some walls in it. Light colors of tiles will open space, and make it clean. Also clear glass on shower will make bathroom bigger than it is. I put big mirrors above washbasin. Mirrors are great in small spaces. If you do not like tiles, there is no problem to change it.
